Little bit of Easter anarchy. Bands comfirmed are; `Spew`, `Captain Bud` regga/punk from Weymouth, `Fat Drunk Stupid` nuff said & headlining will be `The Bolsheviks` from Bristol who`s singer you may remember from `Lux` who stormed the local area back in the 90`s. An unusually sunny Bank Holiday probably led to the Easter gig not being as well attended as expected , but still had about 90 through the door so not too bad .....first band up the Spews didn't show & didn't hear from them so no great loss ....Captain Bud up next from Weymouth who played a punk/reggae mix which went down pretty well , only bummer was the guitarist's amp which kept kicking in the effects unit, but overall a good'un ........we're up next & it all went great apart from a little tiff about setlists , Jer got to try his new 'Large Oilrig' snare drum out , just how much did it cost , won't tell Kirst , (honest) ...........Bolsheviks up last & Paul (ex-Lux) was just as good as ever , he wanted an extra-long mike lead to go a-wandering but we'd already broke one , all round a good solid gig , no more now until May so back to playing with myself fnarr , fnarr......
