Reviews:
The rain dampens my spirits slightly, despite all the flags and bubbles, and I head back into the arena for a beer. I end up holed up in the bar, sampling the scrumpy, before my wife and daughter drag me to Punk Karaoke which was brilliant fun, and then Hobo Jones and the Junkyard Dogs who are terrific for raising spirits even after the power fails. More scrumpy before Fat Drunk Stupid treat us to old school punk covers and are the highlight of the day for me.

My Saturday daytime experience only lasted for a few hours, most of which were spent in the Wildcat Tent. The main reason for this was to enjoy an hour of punk karaoke, the other being to escape the pissing rain. Chucking it down it was, making indoors far more popular than out. The Wildcat Tent was packed, and after Fat, Drunk & Stupid (the karaoke backing band) had soundchecked (!?) the following hour provided much merriment. Most of the 'singers' were clearly used to the stage and handling a mic, but those providing most of the fun were the ones who's lunchtime drinking seemed to start at breakfast. More likely night had blended into day for a few, how some of them stood let alone sung was one of the mysteries of Endorse-It. Nothing though beat the sight and sound of a nine year-old, up with his Dad and full of innocent bravado "This one's by my favourite singer in my favourite band... Joe Strummer!" The crowd roared their approval as the little hero literally beckoned the crowd to sing along "Let's har ya!... White Riot, I wanna riot. White Riot, a riot of my own..." A beautiful scene.

And so it came to pass , God did say unto Noah , ‘we got ‘em all stuck in a field down in Dorset , let’s drown all the eejits’......& he saw that it was good , and lo , many did perish in the mud & excrement ..........’A good day’s work boys lets go down ‘Angel Arms’ & sup a few pints’ ......Yea though verily the people were up to their necks in it they did not falter , and rising as a Phoenix from the fiery flame
FDS did show the way using the beacon of PunkRock............God did see this and he did try to use the power of Axe Factor to defeat them , but lo he did find this returned unto him thrice................’Curse those pesky kids , foiled again ‘

Despite the weather i had a great weekend, although i did desert the `Buzzcocks` after the first number as i was soaked though to me underpants. Did`nt see many bands on friday to busy catching up with friends i have`nt seen since last year. `Pronghorn` were great & the `Beat` but i can`t get my head around `Rankin` Jr` it don`t seem right. Did`nt really see any bands on saturday as we were rushing round doing our bits & pieces. Sunday morning service with `Hobo Jones` & the again on the buskin` stage was a definate highlight for me. `Self Abuse` put on a great show later in the afternoon. Then we were off to karaoke once again & home to bed (had to go to work monday). A big thanks to all who came to see us & to the karaoke boys & girls, also `Bert & cousin Jed` for a great performance on the D+D stage & all the sound & stage guys & gals on both stages CHEERS...
