FDS Gig Reviews

Arrive around 8pm only to find we did`nt have to play till 10pm, (next time i`ll ask, sorry boys). Gig kicked off a little slow like most pub gigs do but after 20 minutes or so a few started jumping around & more mooch on over to watch. Ten minutes into the second set a stag party came in & chaos ruled, stage diving off a 5 inch stage, pile on`s in the middle of the floor you name it they did it. Johnny took more than a bit of a battering on his side of the stage (see below), & did i mention the Hot Chicks. We even play`d quite well too, except `Jers` boring interludes between songs. Great to meet a fellow `Marillion Anorak` not many of us admit to it in public, great gig alround. See ya later in the year, although not as early next time.

Ah the joys of playing to a bunch of pissed-up 'stag-night' lads , I REALLY enjoy being whacked in the gob every other word by my microphone & absolutely LOVE having someone headbutt my guitars 'cos they're so fucked they can't stand , apart from that not too bad . It's also good that we seem to be keeping the tradition of forgetting every single song we play just before we play it, it after all is such good fun standing like a bunch of fucking idiots .............good to see someone else keeping the 'metal' faith going , Celtic Frost fucking rule!
