01 November 2008 - 2009 gig dates
I`ve put up some gig dates for next year that are confirmed & i`ll add more as we go along. Talking with a few venues at the moment, theres even a rumour that we may get to play at `Gillingham Festival` next year...Hhhhmmmmmmmmm

22 August 2008 - Gig Date Changes
Keep an eye on the gig dates page, we`ve had 3 gigs cancelled in a row. This has nothing to do with us, its the venues who`ve double booked & stuff.

07 June 2008 - Website back up
As you may have notice we have had a few problems with the site recently, first it vanished completely & then popped back up 5 years out of date. Most of the gremlins have now been sorted & i should have the few that are left done shortly.

02 February 2008 - Charity gig
A big thanks to all those that turned out for the Xmas charity gig, we raised a total of £293 for the `Rainbow Animal Sanctuary` at Semley. Thanks also to Rory at Eightball, Seranade for a broken heart, Jam with sam & Dj Judda for playing.

04 October 2007 - Carnival night
Apologise`s to Colin for having to cancel friday nights gig at short notice.The carnival night gig will go ahead with JAZ from `Virus` on vocal duties as Jon Jon has been order by the doctor to take a break for a week or so, (you don`t wanna know, but i`m sure he`ll tell ya).

08 September 2007 - Grillin` Em
Thanks to all the bands & punters that showed up & made it a great day & big thanks to Rory & JJ at eightball, Jaz, Robin & Andy.

24 June 2007 - Punk Alldayer is On
`Grilling `em in Gillingham` is the name for `Eightballgigs` first Punk Alldayer. Venue will be the `Red Lion Gillingham` 1pm - Midnight with 14 bands playin`. See gigs page for full details.

16 June 2007 - Punk Alldayer
To replace the planned festival which fell through we are now planning a `Punk Alldayer` along with `Eightballgigs` & `Virus` for the August bank holiday. More details comin` soon.

03 June 2007 - Gigs Cancelled
The Travellers Mcc gig is off as the rally has been cancelled & also the alldayer we were trying to put together at Motcombe is also off as we lost the venue.

13 March 2007 - Festival is on
Saturday August 25th at the `Royal Oak` Motcombe. The festival is being put together by `Eightballgigs` (Jon Jon - Rory) & Jazz (Virus). We are still at the early stages but this is a rough outline of the day. Rock-Alternative stage outside with 17 bands from midday - midnight & indoor Acoustic stage from 1pm - 8pm ish. We are trying to keep this a free entry festival but raise money on the day for charity. Any bands wishing to play, bearing in mind we are trying to do this for free, should contact Jon Jon through the website or Rory at the `Eightballgigs` site or Jazz at the `Virus` site. More details over the next few weeks.

09 March 2007 - Myspace
Hopefully gonna get time to knock up a site on myspace over the weekend, been trying to find time for a while but never seems to happen. Check back to see if it happens.

08 March 2007 - Punk Alternative Fest
Jazz (Virus) & Jon Jon, Rory (Eightballgigs) are in the process of organising a one day Punk - Alternative Festival at Motcombe Nr Gillingham. This will take place somewhen in August. There will be around about twenty bands on the day & very cheap addmission. If any bands are interested in playing, contact JJ though the website. More details coming soon.

06 January 2007 - Easter gig
The Easter gig line up is almost complete & has the makings of a great show. We`re looking for an opening band so if yer interested drop us an email. Full details of all bands comfirm on the gigs page.

16 December 2006 - FREE CD
Both `Sick of You` & `Drunk not Punk` Ep`s are now up in full on the downloads page along with some new artwork which can be found on the galleries page.

04 December 2006 - More Space
As we`ve recently gained a lot more web space we intend to stick more stuff up over the next few months, including both our e.p`s in full with artwork & lots more old & new video footage.

03 December 2006 - T/Shirts Sold out
All the T/shirt designs are currently sold out, we`ll be sorting some new ones in the new year.

13 November 2006 - Reckless Engineer Gig Cancelled
Sorry it`s a bit short notice but we`ve only just been told ourselves, apparently they double book`d. New date should be sorted by end of week.

08 October 2006 - Last few T-Shirts
There are only a few left, so if you want one... you`d best hurry. We wont be restocking until next year & we`ll be doin` away with the skinny fit ones. All thats left are `2 x Black size large` of the original logo & `2 x black skinney fit`.

10 July 2006 - GIG CHANGES

17 June 2006 - No Gillingham Festival
After being blown hot air up our asses for the last twelve months about how great we were at last years festival & how this year we would have our own afternnoon bla, bla, bla, we were given the cold shoulder as the time grew closer. As pissed off as i am about it, i do wish them all the best as it`s a great festival thats getting better every year, & let`s face it Gillingham needs it.

02 March 2006 - FDS to open for old punkers.
With a bit of luck & a little hard work we should be opening for another old 70s punk band, more news as soon as we have it confirm`d.

04 January 2006 - It will get bigger.
As promised last year the website will be getting bigger. As from this month we will start adding galleries from the archive of piccys that we have. Also Rory will be updating the site regularly, mainly sorting out video clips from the past & the present. Plus beware we`ll be out with the camera`s at every gig this year.

12 September 2005 - Bigger & Better.
This week i finally sorted out more web space infact TON`S more space. Over the coming weeks i`ll be putting up galleries from 91-05, `Rory` will be editing video footage from the last fifteen years, (beware YOU look as bad as us), the Documentary will finally start to take shape with photos, trailers etc,etc...Plus other stuff as we trundle along.

04 July 2005 - F.D.S. to open for SLF.
Yep we will be opening for `Stiff Little Fingers` + `4ft fingers` thats a lot of fingers at the Cheese & Grain Frome on Tues 27th sept. If you get your tickets from us we`ll knock a couple of quid off. More details see gig dates.

18 June 2005 - Gold Hill.
Hippie Wayne of `Blueberry Relish Promotions` has started up a website dedicated to `Gold Hill Farye` past & present. He`s on the look out for photos etc of years gone by, if you have any drop him a line via the site www.blueberryrelish.co.uk or go to our links page.

28 May 2005 - Back Again.
Mornin` i`m back from me travels. Personal pages and FDS Friends have been updated, the homepage, Hero of the month etc will be done by the end of the weekend.

09 April 2005 - Cat & Wheel Gig.

07 April 2005 - Anti-Nowhere League Gig.
Friday June 3rd we will be supporting the League at `Bishops Mill` Salisbury. Hopefully this time we`ll make it to the gig (we wont let Stu drive). See gig dates for more details.

The band info/biog pages have had a bit of a face lift, every week the guys will put up what the`ve been listening to, watching, surfing, pissed off about or whatever they wanna write about. Just click on the band info link.

26 February 2005 - Easter Gig Cancelled.
We`ve had to cancel the easter gig as we can`t find anywhere to play. It`s just a case of money, to put a gig on at Legends costs around £700 before we pay any of the bands, which means we`d make very little for charity. The other problem is theres nowhere else to play in gillingham of a decent size. We will do something smaller later in the year somewhere. Sorry to all the bands who agreed to play (for free, i might add) & to you guys who`ve made it a cool time in the past. Also thanks to Ross & Jason for there help with previous gigs & Echo P.A..

21 February 2005 - CHANGE OF VENUE.
Due to various reasons we`ve had to change the venue for the `Tsunami gig`. At present we have no venue confirmed but we`re working on it. Keep checking back for more news.

14 February 2005 - EASTER GIG IS GO.
Easter sunday (27th march) gig is on at Legends. Bands comfirmed so far are BIG NUM, F.D.S., THE IMBREDZ, & Dj Hagrid, more bands to be added shortly. All profits on the night will go to the Tsunami appeal. Any bands interested in playing should email the website.

10 February 2005 - Almost there.
Most of the website has been updated, theres some more gig dates to check out as well as some reviews of last months gigs & hero of the month is up. We`ve got a couple of galleries to do, one is from the legends gig of all you lovely people & the other is from the Port Regis (check out Jer playing a union jack drum kit, nice), They will hopefully be up by the end of the weekend.

09 February 2005 - We`re back online.
As you may have notice nothing much has been changing here at fatsville for the last month, thats because A) i`ve moved house and Bt have`nt been too helpful and B) we`ve had server problems. fingers crossed it`s all sorted now and i`ll be updating everything in the next few days.

02 January 2005 - WOT A GIG.
Big Big thanks to everyone who turned out for the xmas gig (450 approx), there was more of you at the gig than there was at 'Legends' on Christmas eve. So who do we book for the easter gig? We want your feedback. Tribute bands we`ve thought about are 'Oasis', 'Guns & Roses', 'The Darkness' or 'U2'. Let us know what you think.

20 December 2004 - LAST GIG OF THE YEAR.
`Legends` will be the last time to catch us for a while as there`s no gigs until March at the moment. So you know where to be on monday 27th... on the piss with us.

11 December 2004 - `DAMNED` GIG ENDS EARLY.
I will write a revue of the gig shortly but as it ended the way it did, i don`t think now is the right time. Apparently the police are appealing for witnesses on radio 1. But we`d like to thank everyone for all the positive support we had on the night, i can`t recall a time when we`ve had so many people giving us the thumbs up so to speak. Cheers... If anyone took any photos on the night, email them to us as my camera decided not to work.

06 December 2004 - `DAMNED` Tickets.
Last chance for cheap tickets, if you still have`nt got yours yet give Jon Jon a ring & save yerself a few quid. Or if yer too rich to worry phone the City Hall box office. FDS will probably be on at 7pm as they`ve added another band to the line up. So if you can make it there early we`d appreciate it.

18 November 2004 - Normal service rusumed.
Apologies to `Big Num` & anyone who went to the Salisbury gig expecting to see us, we had to pull out at the last minute (see below). Big Num have offered us another gig in the new year which we are looking forward to playing.

17 November 2004 - Congratulations.
Fellow members of F.D.S. send their best wishes to Johnny & Jill, who this week became the proud parents of their new baby. We never knew he had it in him.

01 November 2004 - Quiet month ahead.
We`re having a few weeks off this month as Johnnys wife is due to give birth any day now & if he misses it, i don`t think he`ll be able to play guitar let alone gig. The only gig that we`re definitely doing is the `Ale House` with Big Num. But we are in the process of learning some new songs for the xmas gigs.

22 October 2004 - Cat & wheel gig cancelled.
Apologies to Scott & Jan & all there customers, but we`ve had to cancel our gig on the 12th of november but we will be back there in december.

19 October 2004 - Gig Reviews.
I`ve finaly had time to sit down & write up a load of reviews of past gigs. There are now around twenty up, fingers cross I will now keep up to date with them. Don`t forget you can write `em & sent `em in. Thanks to `EX` for the `Reckless` one.

13 October 2004 - F.D.S... Documentary DVD to be Made!
A documentary DVD (a year in the life of F.D.S.) is to begin filming in december. Why... i`ve no idea but someone wants to do it, so why not. DVD should include live footage, rehearsals, on the road, interviews with band & you guys plus a whole lot more. Straight up.
